Why This Smoothie Is Awesome!

This tropical mango pineapple smoothie is perfect for thosehot summer days when you want something cold, fruity, and refreshing. The blendof mango, pineapple, and banana adds natural sweetness and tropical flavorsthat will transport you to an exotic location. Coconut milk adds creaminess andhealthy fats, while almond milk helps thin out the smoothie a bit. The honey isoptional, but adds a touch of sweetness. Top with coconut, Chia seeds, andsliced mango for extra taste and crunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped fresh/frozen pineapple
  • 1 cup fresh/frozen mango chunks
  • 1 medium ripe banana fresh/frozen, sliced
  • 1 cup lite coconut milk
  • 1 tsp. honey (optional)
  • -chia seeds
  • 1 cup ice cubes (if using fresh fruit; do not use with frozen fruit)
  • Optional toppings: shredded coconut, Chia seeds, sliced mango

Directions

1. Add the chopped pineapple, mango chunks, sliced banana,coconut milk, and unsweetened almond milk into a blender.

2. Add the honey if using, and blend on high speed untilcompletely smooth and creamy.

3. Add the ice cubes one at a time and blend on medium tohigh speed until the ice is completely blended and the smoothie is thick andfrosty.

4. Pour the smoothie into two glasses and serve immediately.

5. Add optional toppings like shredded coconut, Chia seeds, sliced mango if desired.
