Grandma Suzi

Grandma Suzi's brownie recipe is not just a dessert item but is a testament to her kind personality and loving spirit. Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, unsalted
  • 2 sq. baking chocolate
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp. sifted flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup walnuts OR chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Lightly grease a 9x9 casserole dish and flour it with 2 Tbsp of flour. For reference on hour to grease and flour a pan look at the video below!
  3. Cream butter and sugar in a medium bowl
  4. Add eggs and beat well
  5. In a separate bowl, mix sugar, 1/2 cup flour, and salt
  6. Add dry mix to the wet mixture bowl
  7. In a microwave safe bowl, add the chocolate squares. Microwave in 15-20 second intervals until it is melted
  8. Add chocolate to brownie mix; combine very well
  9. Pour into greased casserole dish
  10. Bake for 23-25 minutes
  11. Let cool for 5 minutes
  12. Enjoy!
